If you're a fan of Astro's Big Stage TV show, you'd be glad to know that there will be a season two happening and Vivo Malaysia was revealed to be the official sponsor. Moreover, the company's official brand ambassador, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza will be the main judge alongside two Indonesian singers, Judika and Cakra Khan.
For those who don't know, the Big Stage TV show is a reality-themed singing competition looking for the next superstar in the music industry. Aside from opening it to Malaysia, the show is an open competition for international competitors from Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand and South Korea as well. In this second season, there will be 12 participants competing with each other for eight weeks in hopes to win the grand prize of RM100,000. Second and third place winners will receive RM50,000 and RM25,000 in cash respectively while fourth and fifth place winners will receive RM10,000 and RM5,000 respectively.
Fans can catch Big Stage 2019 exclusively on Astro Ria (104) and Ria HD (123) channels, or even online through Astro Go or www.bigstage.gempak.com where the latter will broadcast it live at 8.50PM from 18 August 2019. The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) Auditorium will also broadcast the shot live for 8 weeks every Sunday, 9:00 am from the same said-date.
