Yesterday, Astro confirmed that the prices for those who have Disney+ Hotstar will be revised. There was no timeline until late last night and there is good news.
In the FAQs section, it is stated that " All Astro customers with Disney+ Hotstar bundle/Add-on will be moved to the Disney+ Hotstar Premium Plan, with no changes to their current subscription pricing starting 24 April 2024". In other words, their current payment to Astro will continue as usual!
For your information, the Premium Plan has some benefits over the Basic Plan. This includes allowing the user to have up to 3 concurrent streams, 10 maximum device logins and 4K Ultra HD resolution. The Basic Plan only allows 1 concurrent stream, 3 maximum device logins and FHD resolution.
Unifi has yet to announce the price changes for customers with Disney+ Hotstar on their plans, but all will be revealed on 8 April 2024. In case you missed it, below are the upcoming five new plans for Disney+ Hotstar:
- Annual Basic Plan at RM 214.90/ year;
- Annual Premium Plan at RM 289.90 /year;
- Monthly Basic Plan at RM 24.90 / month;
- Monthly Premium Plan at RM 39.90 /month; and
- Quarterly Premium Plan at RM 79.90 /quarter.
