Today, we had the opportunity to check out some Ruark Audio products and we delighted to report to you that they are officially launching in Malaysia! A brief introductory lesson for those who don't know about this brand, they are a reputable family-owned British audio brand that is known among the audiophile community and have won several awards for its HiFi audio quality.

Without beating around the bush too much, VSTECS Astar was also announced as the official and sole distributor for the Malaysian market. During the launch, they announced five Ruark Audio products - R7, R5, R3, MR1 and MRX - starting from RM2099 and going up to as high as RM15,999. Yes, they are expensive but these are HiFi audio stuff that truly delivers and you may purchase them (except the R3) at the end of August 2020.

Now that we got that out of the way, we can now talk about the Ruark Audio products. All the aforementioned products' sound drivers are equipped with Class A-B amplifiers instead of Class D which are normally seen on other audio products here in Malaysia, the designs are also carefully crafted to balance the sound synergy. As the saying goes, bigger is better and this is the case with the R7 (the sound is just on another level!) which can fit into a living room perfectly thanks to the radiogram design. However, that doesn't mean the other products aren't good enough as it solely depends on the area.

All the HiFi products can be connected to Bluetooth aptX and WiFi streaming, as well as featuring a slot-loading CD play for the audiophiles. Aside from allowing you to connect to your Spotify playlist, you can also connect them to TIDAL, Amazon Music and Deezer, or even some radio stations. There is also a Ruark RotoDial controller for the user to control from a distance.
