Ayuh Malaysia officially launched its third initiative, PinjamGajet, to help bridge the digital divide among the community. This program allows the public to rent laptops for RM10 per month and aims to provide access to affordable devices, especially for school and university students. So, what should you know about it?

Used laptops will be collected through donations

For your information, the PinjamGajet mechanism involves collecting donations of used electronic gadgets from the public. All devices received will go through a repair process before being rented out to users in need. This step ensures that electronic devices that are still functional can be reused by the target group on an ongoing basis.

Additionally, the program launch ceremony was held at APR Electronic Services, Subang Suburbs on 8 March 2026. In addition to the announcement of the rental program, the ceremony also provided basic laptop repair classes as well as a special space for the public to donate used devices.

More information on participation criteria and donation methods can be found on the official PinjamGajet website.
