If you are part of the BTS Army and love dancing, you now have a chance to "dance" with BTS on YouTube. This Permission to Dance Challenge will be held exclusively on YouTube Shorts starting this Friday, 23 July until 14 August 2021.

In case you didn't know, Permission to Dance is one of the K-Pop boy band's latest singles. If you choose to participate, you just have to create a 15-second YouTube Shorts video replicating the dance moves. It is also required for fans to do the "International Sign" gesture that the septet was seen inside the music video.

So is there any prize? Well, not really but BTS will be spotlighting some of their favourite Shorts in a compilation video. So participants are encouraged to use hashtags #PermissiontoDance and #Shorts for their creations to be considered. We have been told that posting a Short does not guarantee selection, though, and your Short will not be used in this manner without your permission.

Globally, BTS is amongst the top 5 most-viewed artists on YouTube so far this year. In the past 12 months, it has earned over 10 billion views on the platform. With 54 million subscribers on its Official Artist Channel, they are the third most-subscribed artist on YouTube.

Good luck and have fun, Army. Stay safe too and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
