Today, Sime Darby Motors, the official distributor of BYD cars in Malaysia, has unveiled the new BYD SEAL Dynamic variant, adding to the existing Premium and Performance variants. The starting price is RM163,800.
The BYD SEAL Dynamic RWD is available in two colour options - Cosmos Black and Aurora White. As an introductory offer, the first 100 bookings of the BYD Seal Dynamic will include a complimentary Wall Box Home charger, providing further value for customers. Additionally, BYD is also offering a 6-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, an 8-year or 160,000km high-voltage battery warranty, and an 8-year or 150,000km drive unit warranty.
Powered by a 61.44 kWh LFP Blade battery pack, the Dynamic RWD delivers 201 HP and 310 Nm of torque, achieving a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in just 7.5 seconds. The EV also offers a range of 510 km under the NEDC cycle and supports DC charging inputs up to 110 kW, as well as with a spacious interior that includes 400L of boot space and an additional 50L in the front trunk, providing a total of 450L of cargo capacity.
The Dynamic variant is also equipped with 225/50 R18 tyres, slightly different from the Premium and Performance variants, which use 235/45 R19 tyres. Additionally, the Dynamic variant features a unique rim design. Below is a table of more tech specs that you should know:
Alongside the launch of the BYD SEAL Dynamic RWD, the new BYD ATTO 3 has been enhanced with several features, including an increased battery size of 60.48 kWh, which extends the driving range to 480 km under the NEDC cycle and improves its 0-100 km/h acceleration time to just 7.3 seconds. For the first 300 bookings of the new BYD ATTO 3 will come with Wallbox Home Charger, 3 Years Service Package and 4 Years Free Road Tax.
Those interested in getting up close and personal with the BYD SEAL Dynamic and the new BYD ATTO 3 can visit their nearest BYD showroom or Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Carpark B, from 6-8 September 2024.
