
Chinese automotive company, BYD Auto, has launched the world's largest vehicle carrier called the "BYD Shenzhen." So, what should you know about it?
For your information, the carrier uses conventional and LNG fuels as well as BYD batteries to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions and is capable of carrying up to 9200 cars. The ship is part of BYD's efforts to expand its global market, following increased sales last year.
Since 2024, BYD has launched four ro-ro ships, including BYD Explorer No. 1, BYD Changzhou, and BYD Hefei, each of which can carry up to 7,000 vehicles. These ships have made deliveries of the company's EVs to Europe, Brazil, and other global markets.
