If you love streaming animes, this news might upset you. A number of piracy websites that were a haven for anime fans have been found to have been completely shut down. So, what should you know about it?
In a message displayed on their home page, visitors are advised to use the legal option from now on. It was the same message that appeared when the 123movies site was shut down a few years ago. The closure is believed to have come after the websites caught the attention of legal authorities due to TikTok's growing popularity. These websites include:
- filmoflix
- papadustream
- animesuge
- vidsrc2
- flix2day
- 2flix
- theflixtor
- mov2day
- fboxz
- cinezone
- aniwave
- anix
- zorokhtv
Last week, WEBTOON filed a subpoena request for 170 manga piracy sites that have more than 100 million monthly visitors. We have yet to confirm other details on the subject. Hopefully, everything will be sorted out soon.
