Bank Islam today announced that it will be discontinuing its old mobile banking application, GO by Bank Islam, as well as its internet banking service BankIslam.biz, effective 28 June 2025. So, what should you know about it?
Why did Bank Islam do this?
This move is in line with Bank Islam's focus on their new services, BIMB Mobile and also the BIMB Web service, which was introduced last November 2024. It is said that around 90% have switched to the new banking platform.
If you are still using GO or BankIslam.biz banking, they are asked to switch to the new version as soon as possible, before the service is terminated on 28 June 2025.
