Last month, a Beats Powerbeats Fit leak implied that the launch would be soon. The Beats earbud released earlier today is a successor to the Beats Fit Pro, which was launched in 2021. So, what does the new model have to offer? Let's find out.
Tech specs and features
According to Apple Malaysia, Powerbeats Fit uses a redesigned wing tip that's 20% more flexible for better comfort. The new earbuds also come with a pair of extra small ear tips to go with the existing small, medium, and large ear tips.

Powering the Beats Powerbits Fit is still the Apple H1 chip equipped on its predecessor, the Beats Fit Pro. It also has the same 9.5mm drivers, but Apple claimed that the earbuds' ergonomic shape helps deliver balanced sound. Features like active noise cancellation, personalised Spatial Audio, Adaptive EQ, and more remain. Regardless, the overall audio performance and sound signature could be similar.
A mere refresh with design tweaks?
From first impressions, the new Powerbeats Fit model feels more like a refresh of the Beats Fit Pro, albeit one with some design tweaks. Whether the audio quality and features received any significant improvements remains to be seen.
