Beats now has a glow-in-the-dark variant of Powerbeats earbuds priced at ~RM817

If you want a little bit more oomph when it comes to audio devices, here's something fun for you to consider. Beats has announced a new version of the Powerbeats earbuds, made in collaboration with a fashion brand from Tokyo called Ambush.

So, what's special about the Powerbeats Ambush edition? Well, it has this neat feature where it glows in the dark. Ambush's Creative Director Yoon Ahn said that she wanted the product to replicate the feel of Shibuya late at night. During the day, the Powerbeats Ambush would have a mint-green colour but glows dark green when used in the dark.

In terms of features, the Powerbeats features Apple's H1 audio chip, which provides fast pairing to devices and hands-free Siri access. The battery life is pretty robust too, as it can last up to 15 hours on a single charge. However, do note that the Ambush version costs more at USD199.95 (~RM817), while the standard Powerbeats retails for USD149.95 (~RM613).
