Love listening to music on fancy speakers? You're not the only one there. But if your speakers can't connect to Apple devices (due to the lack of audio jack lol), then you'll need something to help. For Apple devices, you could consider Belkin's latest mobile accessory.

Yesterday, the company has unveiled the Belkin Soundform Connect, a new accessory that allows speakers to become AirPlay 2 compatible. Essentially, it's an adapter to connect an iPhone, iPad, or any other AirPlay 2 devices to a speaker via its USB Type-C connector. Many speakers are compatible with the accessory, as it has a 3.5mm audio jack or digital optical audio port. You could plug a high-end soundbar into it, or even old speakers that are still going strong.

A big advantage of this accessory is its portability. Say you are visiting a friend with an expensive Hi-Fi system. You could connect your iPhone to the speakers and enjoy music in Hi-Fi. After all, the Soundform Connect supports 16-bit 44.1kHz audio, which is CD quality. While it hasn't been confirmed, it should also be able to play Lossless Audio tracks from Apple Music.

The Belkin Soundform Connect has a USD 100 (~RM414) price tag and is up for pre-order. It's a bit expensive for a mobile accessory, but what do you think about it so far? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
