If you want a new gaming mobile phone under RM3000, this might be the phone for you. The Black Shark 2 smartphone was launched today in Malaysia and features the Snapdragon 855 chipset and 6.39 inch AMOLED display.

The smartphone has two variants with different tech specs which are: 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage which sells for RM2499 and 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage for RM2999. It comes with a pretty impressive camera setup as well with a dual rear camera with 48MP + 12MP snappers and a selfie camera in the front with a 20MP sensor.

The design of the gaming smartphone is currently one of the coolest gaming designs I’ve seen with the cool markings and indents on the back. A simple S logo with the tiny words “Black Shark” can be seen on the back. Did I mention that the lines and S logo can light up? No rear mounted fingerprint readers can be found on the back is it comes with a UD fingerprint scanner. The phone comes in 2 colours: Shadow Black and Frozen Silver (only available in the 12GB variant) .

Some other interesting features can also be found on this smartphone, enhancing any mobile gamer’s experience. The first one is Ludicrous Mode. This mode amps up the power of the smartphone when gaming, ensuring that you lose no frames. You won’t find this gaming phone overheating with their direct touch liquid cooling system 3.0. The 4000mAh battery capacity lasts 5 hours of intense gaming which is a pretty long session if you ask me.

The phone comes with dual front speakers for immersive gaming. It also comes with 3 mics with 2 of them noise cancelling for clear in-game audio. AI vibration sense is also a super cool feature which adds more immersiveness while gaming.

The GamePad 3.0

If you’re looking to game on a larger screen, the phone is able to directly connect to a screen via a HDMI cable. With the GamePad 3.0, it transforms the device into a console with the Black Shark stand. If you want more cooling power, the device also comes with an external cooler case which can cool your device by 10 degrees in just 10 seconds.

The 8GB variant of the Black Shark 2 starts sales today and as for the 12GB variant, pre-orders start from today till the 5th of April. You can find this smartphone exclusively on Shopee. If you are eager to purchase this device, today is a time to do so. Starting from 12 noon, the first 200 purchasers will receive a Fujitsu E210 bluetooth headphones worth RM399 for free as well as a RM100 cash voucher. So will you be grabbing one for yourself?
