Today, Black Shark officially announced that the upcoming Black Shark 4 will be launched on 23 March 2021 (but in China first, of course). With the theme "Breakthrough Power", the company also teased that this gaming smartphone will "reinvent the old and transcend above the rules".

In case you're wondering, it has been confirmed that the Black Shark 4 will feature a 4500mAh battery pack and supports 120W fast charging. We should be expecting a Black Shark 4 Pro as well, which could feature a 6.67-inch display with high refresh rate support. A Black Shark 5G phone was also seen certified with a 120W charger.

On top of that, a rendered image of the new Black Shark 4 series was leaked online and the design departs from the predecessor. If this is true, the successor could look like a downgrade because of how "normal" it looks with a horizontal triple rear camera and a simple Black Shark logo in the middle. But then again, take it with a grain of salt.

The Black Shark series is quite popular in the Malaysian market due to its affordability but tends to lose out of favour to the ROG series. Until then, stay tuned for our official news coverage of the new Black Shark 4 series at TechNave.com.
