The Black Shark 4s series had arrived in China today, bringing two devices dubbed Black Shark 4s and Black Shark 4s Pro. Despite the Pro variant getting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus processor, some might find the vanilla variant more attractive as it comes with a Gundam Edition skin. Now, let's take a look at each of their tech specs and see which one you will fall in love with!
Both variants sport a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate. The vanilla 4s features a Snapdragon 870 under the hood, while the Pro one gets a more powerful chipset as mentioned. For the battery, both get a 4,500mAh power cell that supports 120W fast charging. They also share the same 8MP ultrawide camera and 2MP depth sensor on the back with a 20MP selfie snapper, but the 4s Pro gets a better 64MP primary camera rather than 48MP.
Black Shark has also partnered with Bandai Namco and worked on a customized version of the vanilla 4s, which brings a Gundam-inspired look. It comes with an eye-catching design of the back panel, red and blue-coloured shoulder keys, protective case and a colourful retail box. There is also a unique theme that can only be found on the special edition device.
The Black Shark 4s will go on sale for CNY2,699 (~RM1,744) for the 8/128GB option, CNY2,999 (~RM1,938) for the 12/128GB version and CNY3,299 (~RM2,131) for 12/256GB. It will be available in Black or Fog White colours. Meanwhile, the 4s Pro comes in either Galaxy Black or Sky White and costs CNY4,799 (~RM3,101) for 12/256GB option or CNY5,499 (~RM3,553) for 16/512GB. The Gundam Edition with a 12/256GB trim will cost CNY3,499 (~RM2,261).
