Last month, some details of the Black Shark 5 popped up on TENAA. It looked like the company would be launching soon, but we didn't see much about it since then. However, teasers with some details on features started popping up this week.

Yesterday, Black Shark announced that the Black Shark 5 series smartphones would feature an upgraded pair of magnetic shoulder buttons. The Magnetic Lifting Shoulder Button 2.0 will offer tactile feedback and a "dual-zone pressure sense". From the description, it sounds like the shoulder buttons have two actuation levels. This could be useful for certain genres like racing games, where the acceleration button can be adjusted.

Besides that, a previous leak also revealed some tech specs of the Black Shark 5 Pro. It's expected to come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 4650mAh battery, and a 108MP main camera. On the other hand, the Black Shark 5 is expected to have a smaller display and 64MP main camera. The company also confirmed that all models would feature 120W fast charging.

Overall, it doesn't feel like the Black Shark 5 series is a huge upgrade. But what do you think, would you be looking to get the new models? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news about it.
