Games maker Blizzard recently announced the expansion set called "Reaper of Souls" for the Diablo 3 game. Like the previous expansion set you can expect a new boss (and a couple of sub bosses perhaps) along with a new playable character class. This time around players get to meet up with Malthael, the angel of death who stole the black Soulstone containing the soul of Diablo. The new expansion set will take place in Westmarch and let you take a whack at Maltheal and his various minions. As mentioned earlier, you also get a new playable character class called the Crusader.

Early sneak peeks at the character show that the Crusader is quite similar to the Paladin but is perhaps more of a mid-range melee fighter. Skills shown off early on include a shield bash move and a skill called Falling Sword with effects similar to the Paladin's Fist of the Heavens skill. To top it all off, Blizzard are raising the level cap to 70 along with new endgame options, a new artisan called Mystic and a hopefully improved "Loot 2.0" looting system. Paragon systems no longer have level caps, however, apart from this information, we still don't know the expansion set's actual release date. It was shown off at Gamescom though.
