After announcing a Warcraft mobile game is currently in the works earlier this year, Blizzard has further teased fans with a potential reveal date for the mobile exclusive. In a blog post today by John Hight, Blizzard’s General Manager for Warcraft, it is revealed that the company will be telling more about the game this May.

The Warcraft mobile game, which was announced in Blizzard’s 2021 fourth quarter financial report last month is poised to become the first game in the Warcraft franchise designed from the ground up for mobile. Not much information has been shared by Blizzard since, with Hight’s blog post today only teasing about a potential reveal date.

Speaking of the blog post, its contents are actually more about World of Warcraft and Hearthstone, two of the most popular titles by Blizzard. However, the blog post’s ‘Save the Date - The Future of Warcraft’ does allude to a potential Blizzard event that would share in-depth information on the company’s future titles, including the Warcraft mobile game.

Furthermore, the final sub-heading and content of the blog post dealt specifically with the mobile exclusive. Hight asserted that Blizzard is currently preparing to get the first game in the Warcraft Universe designed for mobile into fans’ hands and that Blizzard will be ‘telling more about it in May’.
