Starting from December onwards, the Boost Bank Debit Card's 2% cashback promotion has begun. But how long will it last? Well, it was not mentioned specifically on the website, so we had to dig into the terms and conditions page of the cashback campaign. Here is everything you need to know.
Just like GXBank's Debit Card, the Boost Bank Debit Card virtual and physical card can do the same thing. With the virtual card, you can use it to do online shopping on both local and international purchases. Meanwhile, the physical card can be used for cashless payment, withdrawal of cash from PayNet Shared ATMs, domestic use of MEPS ATMs, and any ATM displaying the Mastercard or Cirrus logo when you are overseas.
As for the 2% cashback promotion, it turns out that this campaign period will only last until 31 December 2024. Furthermore, it is also capped at a maximum total cashback limit of RM40 throughout the campaign period. So if you already reach RM40, no additional cashback will be rewarded even if you continue using the Boost Bank Debit Card virtually or physically.
Just for context, you will need to spend up to RM2,000 just to get the RM40 cashback. The cashback will be credited immediately into your Boost Bank Savings Account, although the FAQ also mentioned there are exceptional cases of taking a few days. Also, the debit card's annual fee is waived for the first year.

If you want to sign up for the Boost Bank Debit Card, you can do so on your Boost Bank app and visit the cards page. Tap 'Activate', enter the 3-digit CVC and create your 6-digit card PIN. After that, the debit card is ready to be used and you can freeze it anytime if you suspect any fraudulent transactions. You can visit the official web portal right here to learn more.
