In a collaboration between Shell Malaysia and Boost e-wallet, more than 800 Shell outlets across Malaysia will officially support payment via the Boost App starting April 2019. To give a little more information regarding the Boost E-Wallet, it is a mobile app that stores digital currency which then can be used to make purchases and payments to partnered services.
From 14 May until 14 June 2019, any customers who made their first two transactions at any shell outlet using the Boost App will be entitled to an RM5 cashback if they spend a minimum of RM40 on a single receipt. Based on a statement made by Shell Malaysia, they are planning to integrate every single outlet in Malaysia to be able to support payment via Boost App. The app is available on the Google Play store, as well as the Apple iOS App Store for absolutely free.
