Boxy, bezel-free nubia Z50 Ultra spotted in the wild with what appears to be a better under display camera

Let’s face it, under display cameras have been rather underwhelming. While they do allow smartphones to have virtually bezel-free all screen displays with no punch holes or notches to interrupt the action, they usually don’t take very good photos. Now recently leaked images of what appears to be an all-screen nubia Z50 Ultra have appeared in the wild.

For those who don’t remember, ZTE, originally the parent company of nubia was one of the first to come out with an under display camera smartphone. So, they do have the experience to do it again. The leaked images don’t reveal much else though, aside from a rather boxy bezel-free design with flat sides and a red power button.

No specific tech specs or features were mentioned, much less Malaysia release dates or pricing details, but the nubia Z50 Ultra is expected to come in March 2023 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset, periscope camera and  5000 mAh battery. We’re hoping that it won’t be too expensive, but then the nubia brand is better known for their gaming phones.

As usual with such rumours, do take this with a pinch of salt. If such a phone does come to Malaysia would you buy it? What price would be right for you? Share your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com
