Are you still waiting for the ‘pat and feed your Pokémon’ feature to be on your Pokémon Go app? Well, wait no more! The new feature Buddy Adventure has gone live recently and you are now able to bring your Pokémon out for a walk, feed them berries and other interesting stuff!!

The feature includes a lot of new awesome things for you to discover in the AR game. It focuses more on the interactions between you and your Pokémon as they really act like your pet now. Some even said it’s a Pokémon version of Tamagotchi.

Pokémon are now able to show emotions too telling you whether they are happy or sad. By cheering them up, you would need to go through activities like walking, battling, taking a picture, feeding and more to gain Affection points. Other than that, your Pokémon buddy will also appear as a cameo in the Wild, Quests, Raids and Rocket Battles. If you’re wondering if you could switch to another Pokémon to be your buddy, the answer is you will only be able to swap once per day.

If that is not enough for you to be close with your Pokémon, the new AR camera feature allows you to take pictures with your Pokémon and your friends’ Pokémon too. Of course, you and your friends are still required to be at the same location to see each other’s Pokémon. You can even ask the Pokémon to pose and smile while taking the pictures.

The feature will now be available if you're level 30 and higher, if not, you might need to keep up. There are also other new forms of Pokémon coming soon next year and you better be prepared to catch ‘em all!
