Budget 2025: Malaysia to make an RM10 million e-sports stadium?

Sorry folks, this isn't really that RM10 million e-sports stadium... but it could be.

According to Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister, Malaysia will use RM10 million of the RM20 million Budget 2025 allotment to make an e-sports stadium. The rest will be used for e-sports training and related activities.

No specific location or Malaysian date was mentioned just yet but according to the report, Johor should follow in the footsteps of the Centre for Technology Excellence Sarawak (CENTEXS) which will develop e-sports talents. Given the RM10 million allotment just for building an e-sports stadium, we’re hopeful that there could be more than one such building across the nation.

What do you think? Is RM10 million enough for more than 1 e-sports stadium or will it be just enough to build 1? Perhaps it would only be enough for 1 if it matches the e-sports stadium in the picture? Share your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com
