CES 2018: ASUS unleashed a wide array of ROG gaming products

Aside from ASUS lineup of laptops and PCs, its gaming department - Republic of Gamers (ROG) also showed up at the CES 2018 and there is a one big family including the ROG Strix SKT T1 Hero Edition laptop, ROG Strix GL12 desktop, ROG Strix FLare RGB mechanical keyboard, ROG Aura Terminal addressable RGB controller, ROG Spotlight RGB projection light and Bezel-free Kit display accessory.

ROG Strix SKT T1 Hero Edition

For the gaming products, the ROG Strix SKT T1 Hero Edition is a limited-edition gaming laptop developed in collaboration with one of the top eSports team SK Telecom T1. Designed for MOBA gaming, the laptop has an Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series graphics and a 120Hz IPS-level display with a 100% sRGB colour gamut. On the other hand, the ROG Strix GL12 desktop is a serious power machine using a factory-overclocked 8th Generation Intel Core processor (up to 4.8GHz full Hexa-Core) with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card.

Moreover, the ROG G703 is the world's first gaming laptop with a 17.3-inch Full HD wide-view display with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology for a 144Hz refresh rate. Housing a factory-overclocked Intel Core i7-7820HK processor that can reach up to 4.3GHz out of the box, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics with a maximum boost clock of up to 1974MHz, and Windows 10.

For the gaming peripherals, you have the ROG Strix Flare RGB mechanical gaming keyboard that allows customization on the keys with individual backlit Cherry MX RGB switches, dedicated media keys positioned for instant in-game control, an illuminated customizable logo badge and Aura Sync lighting.

There's also the ROG Aura Terminal and ROG Spotlight accessories (Aura Sync) that give synchronized lighting, as well as a Bezel-free Kit that enables gamers with multiple-monitor setups to visually eliminate the gaps where their displays connect the edge of each monitor at a 130-degree angle, it does require any software or power to operate. On top of that, ASUS also introduced a high-refresh-rate display, the ROG Strix Scare Edition with a 144Hz panel and GTX 1070 graphics card.
