Sony recently announced its 46th E-mount lens series, called SEL18135, the new APS-C lens features an 18-135mm focal length and an aperture range of F/3.5 - F/5.6 with optical SteadyShot stabilization. The SEL18135 will be available in Malaysia from the end of February or early of March 2018, no price was revealed, though.
Its optical zoom goes up to 7.5x and remains sharp thanks to its advanced design featuring one aspherical lens and two Extra-low Dispersion glass elements that minimise aberrations, allowing photographers to take close-up images with acceptable bokeh effect of its maximum magnification ratio of 0.29x and a minimum focus distance of 0.45m.
Although it measures at 67.2 x 88mm and weighs 325g, the lens is said to be quite compact and lightweight. Useful for a wide range of shooting situations ranging from daily life to portraiture, landscape, nature and travel photography, it's an ideal fit for Sony's APS-C sensor camera lineup such as the α6500, α6300 and α6000.
On the other hand, Sony also announced that the α6300 will be available in silver and will come to Malaysia as well from the end of February/early of March 2018. Stay tuned for more CES 2018 news at TechNave.com.
