When it comes to laptops, Lenovo is well-known for its business models. The ThinkPad family has reliable laptops that are often used by corporate folks, and it's just grown bigger at CES 2022. Let's take a look at what the new ThinkPad X1 and Think Z models offer.
ThinkPad X1
As you may know, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 series consists of premium models that are designed for professionals. There are three new models this time - the X1 Carbon 10th Gen, X1 Yoga 7th Gen, and X1 Nano 2nd Gen. They're powered by the 12th Gen Intel Core CPUs with Intel vPro support, up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and Intel Iris Xe graphics. These laptops also have up to 2TB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
Lenovo also ensured that these models come with good displays. The X1 Carbon 10th Gen and X1 Carbon 7th gen both come with a 14-inch OLED display, while the X1 Nano 2nd Gen uses a 13-inch display. Moreover, all three models come with an FHD+IR MIPI Computer Vision web-cam, TrackPoint button, Thunderbolt 4 ports, WiFi 6 support, and more.
ThinkPad Z
As for the Lenovo ThinkPad Z family, there are two models this time - ThinkPad Z13 and ThinkPad Z16. Both are powered by the latest AMD Ryzen PRO 6000 mobile CPUs, up to 32GB of RAM, and integrated AMD Radeon graphics. For the ThinkPad Z16, users can buy a variant with the AMD Radeon RX 6500M GPU. The ThinkPad Z16 is also the larger model with a 16-inch display, compared to the ThinkPad Z13's 13.3-inch.
