CES 2022 Razer: new Blade 14, 15 & 17 equipped with AMD Ryzen 6000 series & 12th Gen Intel processors

When it comes to Razer, the brand is known for manufacturing gaming laptops and other quirky stuff. At CES 2022, the company just announced a brand new Blade 14, Blade 15 and Blade 17 with all-new hardware. Let's see what they got. 

Powered by both AMD and Intel, the Blade 14 returns with the next generation of AMD Ryzen 6000 Series processors, with up to Ryzen 9 6900HX processor as the highest end. Both the Blade 15 and Blade 17 come equipped with the newest 12th Gen Intel Core H-Series Processors, up to an Intel Core i9-12900H with a new 14-core count clocking in at 5.0GHz.

The Blade 14 now comes improved with 16GB of DDR5 RAM alongside a newly implemented MUX Switch to utilise GPU on the 14-inch display. Speaking of displays, the Blade 15 offers a Full HD 360Hz and QHD 240Hz configurations, as well as an all-new UHD 144Hz configuration. Then for the Blade 17, it's said to cater to professional creators and gamers who are looking for the ultimate desktop replacement. 

The Blade 14, 15, and 17 ship with Windows 11 pre-installed, with all its gaming benefits including DirectStorage, Xbox GameBar and Xbox Game Pass. The sides of each Razer Blade are lined with a variety of inputs, ranging from USB-C to HDMI 2.1 to a high-speed UHS-II SD card reader. Of course, the keyboards have Razer Chroma RGB and the laptops' sound systems are THX Spatial Audio certified. 

As for the price and availability, they are not official in Malaysia yet but below are the price tags for the USA and European markets:

  • Razer Blade 14 starts at $1,999.99/2,199.99€ (~RM8419/~RM10466) and will be available for pre-order at Razer.com, Razer Store locations and select retailers on February 10th and for purchase from select retailers in Q1 2022.
  • The new Razer Blade 15 starts at $2,499.99/2,799.99€ (~RM10524/~RM13320) and will be available for pre-order exclusively at Razer.com and Razer Store locations on January 25th and for purchase from select retailers in Q1 2022.
  • The new Razer Blade 17 starts at $2,699.99/2,999.99€ (~RM11366/~RM14271) and will be available for pre-order exclusively at Razer.com and Razer Store locations on January 25th and for purchase from select retailers in Q1 2022.
