If you want to watch a video when you're out, chances are you'd use your phone or laptop. But what if you wanted to enjoy it on a larger screen? In that case, you'd need something like a projector, and the Samsung FreeStyle unveiled at CES 2022 could be a suitable choice.
According to Samsung, the FreeStyle is a portable screen and entertainment device in one. It can project a screen of up to 100 inches in size, deliver good audio with deep bass thanks to its dual passive radiator, and is pretty small for a projector. With one of these, you can enjoy movies and mobile games anywhere you like with a big screen.

You can also use it with external batteries for the outdoors
The FreeStyle is compatible with mirror casting from Android and iOS, allowing you to stream the files or apps from your phone (like Netflix). It also has built-in streaming services. In terms of features, the projector has full auto keystone and auto levelling features, so it can automatically adjust its screen to any surface. Moreover, it supports external batteries with USB-PD and 50W/20V output or more. In other words, you could even use it during an outdoor camping trip. Speaking of that, you can also use it as an ambient light source or music player for such trips. Pretty neat, right?
Samsung will launch the FreeStyle in the US first, but we hope that it will be available in Malaysia eventually. Would you buy one if it comes here? Drop us a comment on Facebook, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news from CES 2022.
