Asus TUF Gaming series
ASUS has recently announced the launch of several gamer-centric laptops such as the ASUS ROG Zephyrus S, new TUF Gaming series lineup as well as the desktop-replacement gaming laptop called the ASUS ROG Mothership during CES 2019 held in Las Vegas.
Starting off the with ROG Mothership, the laptop is marketed as a desktop-replacement which is equipped with one of the highest tech specs possible such as an 8th generation Intel Core i9 processor, 17.3-inch FHD 144hz display with G-Sync capabilities as well as an Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM
ASUS ROG Mothership
The uniqueness that the ROG Mothership brings to the table is the rather interesting design of having all the components installed behind the screen instead of under the keyboard. Not only that but the keyboard is also detachable, allowing it to function even when not directly attached to the display via wireless or wired.
Moving on to the next product, ASUS has also introduced the TUF FX505DY and FX705DY to the ASUS TUF Gaming Laptop line-up. These laptops come equipped with the AMD Ryzen 5 3550H as well as the AMD Radeon FX560X graphics for a durable, long-lasting and capable laptop.

Not only that but the display that the FX505X comes equipped with is fitted with a 120hz refresh rate panel which is great for e-sports oriented games such as CS:GO and PUBG which benefits from the high refresh rate.
For immersive games such as the Farcry series, Bioshock series and more. The display also comes equipped with the AMD Freesync which reduces screen tearing when framerates dips below 60FPS.
Lastly, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus S GX701, the newest addition to the Zephyrus line-up is the world’s first ultraslim gaming laptop that features the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics card and an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8750H processor. All the components come fitted in a slim and premium feeling chassis as well. As for the display size, the laptop has a 17.3-inch FHD 144hz display with G-Sync capabilities.
