During the first day of CES 2019, Acer has released three new laptops which are the all-new Swift 7, a new convertible Predator Triton 900 as well as its first Chromebook 315 Powered by Versatile AMD A-Series Processors with Radeon Graphics. As usual, prices are announced in USD and Europe pricing, so we will get to that later at the end of the post.
Continuing on the Swift series, the Swift 7 has a new premium chassis with ultra-narrow bezels on its 14-inch Full HD 1920x1080 touch display, allowing it to achieve a 92% screen-to-body ratio. It's also quite lightweight which makes it compactable, weighing at just 890 grams only and powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8500Y processor, with up to 512GB of fast PCIe SSD storage, up to 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and with 10 hours of battery life.

Next, the Predator Triton 500 is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070/2060 GPU! The 15.6-inch Full HD gaming notebook has also slimmed down and weighs 2.1kg. Able to standby up to 8 hours of battery life, it sports up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, NVMe PCIe RAID 0 SSDs, and up to 32GB DDR4 memory. It can be upgraded to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPUs which can be overclocked for some VR-Ready games. As most gaming laptops do, there is a 144Hz refresh rate in overdrive at 3ms, NVIDIA G-Sync technology.
Meanwhile, its other brother, the Triton 900 is also available with similar specs, just bigger with a 17-inch 4K IPS display, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU and NVIDIA G-SYNC. Last but not least, the Acer Chromebook 315 is powered by 7th Gen AMD A-Series processors with Radeon graphics, either with the AMD A6-9220C APU or A4-9120C APU in system-on-chip design. The 15.6-inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 display can last up to 10 hours on average usage.
