PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (CIMB Niaga), in collaboration with Google Cloud and Artefact, officially launched a dedicated artificial intelligence (AI) agent to enhance the banking experience of millions of Indonesians. That said, what should you know about it?

 

The AI tools are meant to provide more accurate financial advices

Through this collaboration, bank staff are now equipped with AI tools that are capable of providing more accurate financial advisory services and tailored to each customer's unique needs based on their stage of life. The two main agents introduced are the Relationship Manager AI Agent and the Contact Centre AI Agent.

Additionally, Relationship Manager Agents act as strategic partners who analyse daily market sentiment and financial trends to assist clients with personal financial planning, such as purchasing a first home or managing retirement.

Meanwhile, Call Centre agents assist staff in providing quick resolutions during live interactions by accessing the bank's information management system in real time. To ensure security, all of these AI agents operate in a secure personal data repository in the Jakarta cloud region to comply with local privacy regulations.

Moreover, the semantic search technology used allows staff to "dialogue" with the bank's information system to quickly obtain accurate answers.
