While we wait for the CMF Phone 2, CMF has officially unveiled the CMF Buds 2 on its international website. It won't be appearing on the Malaysian website anytime soon, but here's what we know about the upcoming earbuds.

According to the source, the CMF Buds 2's design will look more or less the same as the other CMF earbuds and casing. The earbuds feature an 11mm custom driver with a Dirac Opteo sound system and the Nothing Ultra Bass Technology 2.0. The Bluetooth version is 5.4, and it gets dual device pairing support, complementing Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair.

In terms of Active Noise Cancellation, the CMF Buds 2 is said to reduce noise up to 48dB, which is most impressive, given it is a non-pro model. In addition, it also adjusts noise reduction in real-time for up to 5,200Hz frequency range, thanks to the hybrid ANC system. Clear Voice Technology and spatial audio support are present too, and each earbud has three microphones.

The CMF Buds 2 can last up to 13.5 hours of playback on a single charge. And when combined with the charging case, it goes up to 55 hours. Furthermore, the case has an IPX2 water splash resistance, while the Buds 2 is IP55 water and dust resistance rated. Lastly, there are three colour options to choose from: Light Green, Dark Grey and Orange.
