After weeks of teasing, CMF has officially launched the Phone 2 Pro. In the Malaysian market, the Phone 2 Pro is available in Orange, White and Black with 8GB + 256GB memory, at the price of only RM1,199. Below are the tech specs and features you should know.
At just 7.8 mm thick and weighing only 185 grams, the Phone 2 Pro is the slimmest and lightest device that Nothing has ever produced. CMF said it is 5% thinner than its predecessor, featuring an aluminium camera surround, upgraded stainless steel screws, and enhanced water resistance rated at IP54, an improvement over the previous IP52 certification.
In terms of tech specs, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G chipset. Thanks to the TSMC's 4 nm process, it has 10% faster processing and 5% better graphics compared to its predecessor. The battery life is another highlight, using 5,000mAh, while the AMOLED display is 6.77 inches with HDR and Ultra HDR support. It also features over a billion colours, up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, a 1,000Hz touch sampling rate, and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
At the camera corner, it has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a telephoto lens with six stacked lenses that allows 20x digital zoom, while the front camera is 16MP. CMF continues to offer modularity with the Phone 2 Pro, offering new accessories such as a Universal Cover, Interchangeable Lenses (Fisheye and Macro), and a Wallet/Stand.
Another nice upgrade from the predecessor is the new NFC connectivity on the Phone 2 Pro. All products will be available to purchase from nothing.tech and retail partners, with pre-orders open on April 29, with open sales starting on May 6.
