Activision has been hopping mad when details of a new feature for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was leaked. The company even sent a DMCA to Reddit in order to uncover the leak, which revealed the existence of the mode almost 1 month in advance. Today, the Warzone battle royale mode is finally out.

According to Arstechnica, the new game mode is free-to-play for all users on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. That's right, you won't even need to own the full version of the game to play it! Unlike the battle royale mode in Black Ops 4, Warzone will have fewer gadgets to equip but will be able to earn money through the match and buy temporary power-ups or revive your allies. Aside from that, it should play like any battle royale game out there.

Supposedly, this game's Warzone mode is also huge when compared to other battle royale games, with battles that can hold up to 150 players. There's also a Gulag in the game, where players who have been taken out can watch or join other eliminated players battle it out in a 1v1 mode. Those who win the battle get to head back into the main battle one more time.

Warzone is already available and you can find out more about it on Activision's blog. For those who have had the chance to play it, what are your impressions of it so far? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news like this.
