Depending on the smartphone price range, there is only so much a smartphone can do. For example, a phone that's around RM500 would only have a memory capacity of 3GB + 32GB at most. And if you want the whole package, you probably have to spend 1-2 months of salary for a device that costs easily over RM3K. Is there no balance?
If you aren't aware, HONOR has a reputation for releasing devices that are value-for-money and we ourselves are quite a big fan of them. The HONOR View20 is one of the latest 2019 flagships and has 5 cool features starting from just RM1999, so that said - can your <RM2K smartphone do these 5 things like the HONOR View20?
1. Catch all the details with a 48MP camera?
There is no doubt that plenty of smartphones are capable of taking great photos nowadays, but sometimes they don't look that great when viewed on a PC monitor, showing grainy pixels spoiling the photo. Would cropping the image solve the problem? Yes and no, you might get rid of the unwanted part, but cropping usually makes the photo more pixelated.
This is where the AI Ultra Clarity feature comes in. Granted, it's not the first time that a company did this and may not look that different from a typical smartphone photo shot, but upon zooming in or cropping the image, the feature magically does its work and we have never been so impressed. 2. No more lag-rage with Link Turbo?
There's a good chance of 99% of us that when we go into our toilet to do our "business", we would bring our smartphone and play a game or two. But like in "every-toilet-ever", the reception is horrendous even if the WiFi modem is just outside. To solve this (not just for toilet users), HONOR has integrated a Link Turbo feature inside the phone which helps to connect on your network carrier and WiFi line at the same time while prioritising the latter. Should your WiFi disappear, it will switch to the network carrier and vice versa.
It's also worth mentioning that you will have a nice gaming experience thanks to the GPU Turbo 2.0 (which supports PUBG Mobile, Arena of Valor, Mobile Legends and others), as well as having the NINE Liquid Cooling System to help cool down your phone while gaming. No more "burnt" fingers!
3. A shining shimmering splendid Aurora Nanotexture?

It's not just the flagships that have a premium design with gradient colours, even mid-range devices now have it as well. While gradient colours are definitely eye-catching, the fact remains that the HONOR View20 is currently the only phone with a cool and one of a kind Aurora Nanotexture that shows off a V shape reflection which no other brand has. What's more, the back cover is glass and for a RM1999 device this is the perfect combo of premium and affordable.
4. A 3D motion-controlled gaming feature?
What? The HONOR View20 has 3D motion games?! Surprise! But don't get too excited because there are only two games (Fancy Skiing and Fancy Darts) available for it at this time of posting. Also, you need an HONOR dock and a HDMI to USC-C cable to make it work.
However, you can still take advantage of the flagship's Time of Flight (ToF) sensor on other things. There's a 3D Shaping that can reshape your body from the background without any distortion, as well as a Magic AR app that allows you to record videos with a 3D character with you in it. It may not sound all that impressive, but this is the first step towards 3D motion games in the near future and when 5G comes, it has the potential to be awesome.
5. Fast charge a 4000 mAh over 50% in 30 minutes?
Finally, this is probably almost everyone's favourite feature - the HONOR View20 has a huge 4000mAh battery that can easily last you through more than a day. Also, just in case you forgot to charge your phone, it has a fast charging technology that can charge over 50% within 30 minutes. Again, not a lot of phones at the RM2K price range has both of these features as those with 4000 mAh batteries or higher usually take a long time to charge.
In just within 10 minutes, the phone is already at 52.7% from 37% (you have to take my word for it)

So there you have it, maybe you know a phone or two that has one of these features but the facts remains - the HONOR View20 is the only one with all these 5 features starting from RM1999 and that's a real deal breaker.
