Recently seen out in the wild is the Canon EOS Kiss X7 which looks to be a smaller and lighter version of Canon's EOS Rebel DSLR lineup. While the size looks about to be the same as the Rebel T4i, the Canon EOS Kiss X7 may have a slightly more ergonomic look and shape to it. As it is, specs for this new model include:
- 2nd generation hybrid autofocusing system
- 18MP sensor
- DIGIC 5 processor
- ISO 25600
- 9-point autofocusing coverage
- 3-inc LCD
Estimated price for the Canon Kiss X7 would be ¥79,000 (RM2602) and would be sold first in Japan around April. No news when or if this model will arrive in Malaysia but it should appeal to those first-time beginners looking to get a space-saving starter DSLR. As usual, we'll keep you posted of any news.
