The Dual-Pixel sensor allows more precision when capturing light in that each of the two photodiodes in each pixel can capture light independantly. This translates to a faster focus and more accurate Live View. It is especially useful if you intend to take videos with the 70D as it's better autofocus allows you to stop modifying AF manually. The Canon EOS 70D should come to Malaysia around September 2013 for $1199 (RM3815) for the body and may come bundled with the 18-55mm or 18-135mm STM kit lens.
