Canon and National Geographic have teamed up to organize the EOS Young Photography Competition. Open to aspiring young Malaysian photographers from the ages of 13 years old to 25 years old, the competition aims to highlight the beauty of nature's colours through Canon's camera technology. Based on a fortnightly colour theme participants are encouraged to showcase shots that highlight the main theme of "A Celebration of Colour".
Participants stand to win the coveted EOS Young Photographer Award, an all-expenses paid trip to a National Geographic Photography Worksop in the United States and Canon products. These Canon products include a Canon EOS 60D DSLR camera with an 18-55mm IS II lens along with the grand prize being the National Geographic Photography Workshop trip. The competition will also offer a Grand Voters Choice award and a Bi-Weekly Voter's Choice Award.
