Canon's professional digital cinema camera family is getting a new member, with the latest model being the EOS C300 Mark III. It's accompanied by two new CINE-SERVO series lenses, combining to provide excellent quality in videography. The new camera and lenses are targeted at professional filmmakers, videographers, and enthusiasts who are into videography.

According to Canon, its new EOS C300 Mark III comes with support for 4K recording at a very high 120p recording. It can also shoot in 4K/60P with very high dynamic range, thanks to the new Dual Gain Output (DGO) sensor. Under the hood, this camera is equipped with the DIGIC DV 7 image processor and Dual Pixel CMOS AF, which allows for very accurate focus even when recording in 4K.

High modularity allows you to equip it with different optional gears and accessories

Another useful feature is the camera's modularity. Similar to the EOS C500 Mark II, you can customise the EOS C300 Mark III according to your shooting environment. For example, you can attach different kinds of optional accessories like mount kits, so you can equip a wider variety of lenses.

Speaking of lenses, the new CN10x25 IAS S/E1 (EF mount) and CN10x25 IAS S/P1 (PL mount) lenses provide up to 8K optical performance. In other words, these two lenses are already futureproofed for 8K digital video cameras. Besides that, the lenses come with 10x zoom and a built-in 1.5x extender.
