Today, Canon Malaysia has officially launched the third generation multifunctional devices (MFDs), the imageRUNNER ADVANCE (iR-ADV) series - iR-ADV C7500i series (C7580i / C7570i) and the C5500i series (C5560i / C5550i / C5540i / C5535i) for the current work spaces. These new series feature remarkable print speeds in colour and monochrome to produce outstanding business documents in rich and vibrant hues, as well as a customisation feature and high operational reliability to meet the demands of mid to large enterprises.
“The visual age has influenced the conduct of commercial activities in the marketplace, and the need for high-quality colour documents is evident in the day-to- day operations of many businesses today, answering real-world business needs is the key driver behind the development of our third generation of iR-ADV MFDs, especially for organisations with requirements to print high volume, high- quality colour documents. For the sake of user interface convenience, the Canon iR-ADV C7500i series offers an all-in-one solution that delivers maximised productivity, for one, it can:
- Convert to various file formats.
- Has smartphone-like gestures such as swiping and pinching
- Picture Login authentication
- Force Hold Printing - allows users to preview and edit print settings before releasing the temporarily held print jobs at the device).
- My ADVANCE feature – allows customise workflows and preferences easily, from personalising display language, initial display screen, frequently-used settings, address lists and more
- Motion sensor technology
- Intelligent Recovery system (iR-ADV C5500i series) – can identifiy a bystander, a passerby or an approaching user via the infrared motion sensor, and assesses their intentions.
- Intelligent Document Feeder
Lastly, the new series come standard with Wireless LAN support, providing users with the flexibility to print and scan wirelessly from their smart devices.
