
Canon has officially launched the latest addition to the EOS M range family, the Canon EOS M1 as a convenient point-and-shoot compact and lightweight camera for the photographers. It is now available for purchase at a recommended retail price of RM1999.

As a user-friendly mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera, the 3.0-inch touchscreen LCD allows quick access to different functions such as shutter speed, aperture self portrait mode and others at the tap of the screen. There’s also a Creative Assist feature, which is for photographers to make adjustments of the effects to the environment in the images for fun experimentation.

The M10’s Canon DIGIC 6 processor handles images quietly and consumes low power in high speed. Even in dim lighting, the image’s colours and details will be captured effortlessly by the 18MP APS-C CMOS sensor and the high ISO speed performance from 100 – 12800. What’s more, it also uses an enhanced Hybrid CMOS AF II system for tracking objects and subjects with precision.

Wi-fi connectivity on the EOS M10 facilitates speedy sharing to social media platforms via online cloud storage, Canon iMAGE GATEWAY (CiG). After a one-time registration on CiG, users whose cameras are connected to any Wi-Fi service, may post their photos and videos directly to Facebook and YouTube.
Photographers can also post their photos and videos directly to Facebook and YouTube with it, all they need to do is to register the Canon iMAGE GATEWAY (CiG) one time and the M10 can be connected to any WiFi service nearby. This enables the user’s M10 to connect with a smart device as well, and can be used as a remote shooting feature.
