Today, Canon has announced the latest EOS M50 Mark II that brings few new features to users who are photography enthusiasts or even vloggers. The upgrades include a new autofocus system, a new LCD screen, and exciting features like direct YouTube live-streaming.

The 24.1MP camera comes with Dual Pixel CMOS AF that is here to provide quicker and more accurate autofocus functions. With Eye Detection AF, the device can easily detect and focus on the subject's eye even it's far away. It will also help to ensure the eye will always stay in focus and quickly take some great candid shots. The Eye Detection AF can be used with Movie Servo AF as well when shooting videos.

Talking about videos, the EOS M50 Mark II also comes with an improved contrast AF algorithm that is used to enhance AF stability while shooting your own 4K movies with EF-M lenses. Furthermore, the camera also supports movie digital zoom up to 10x during shooting, and it can be combined with a zoom lens to achieve magnified shooting with up-close shots as well.

For YouTubers, this camera also allows you to directly live-stream to Youtube without a streaming device. Not to mention that videos shot vertically can appear smaller when viewed in a horizontal position, but the EOS M50 Mark II offers an "add rotate info" option to enable automatic vertical playback on other smart devices. If you'd like to, you can also become a registered user of Canon’s new image.canon cloud platform to upload, store, download, and transfer images smoothly between various devices.
