For a few weeks since 27 June 2016, Huawei Malaysia has invited all Huawei P9 and P9 Plus users a five-week social media photography contest called 'Capture the Beauty of Malaysia 2016'. The contest is based on a series of themes that celebrates the uniqueness of Malaysia culture, the most creative and original submission of the weekly theme will win a Huawei Smart Watch worth RM1799! Huawei Malaysia will also be shortlisting top ten weekly finalists who will then be in the running for the grand prize of a LEICA T-SERIES worth RM17000.
To participate the contest, participants can upload their work on Facebook and Instagram with hashtags #OO, #HuaweiP9MY and #HuaweiP9, and tag the company's official Instagram account or their Facebook page @HuaweiMobileMY. Submissions need to be an original, photography-based artwork that was created using Huawei’s latest flagship devices – the P9 and P9 Plus, and participants are welcome to submit unlimited photos of iconic landmarks, buildings, streets, shop lots and so forth with a creative caption for it. Currently, the contest is in its fourth week and the theme is 'Streets of Malaysia'.
