Earlier today, Carousell has announced that they will merge with 701Search, which are the owners of Mudah.my based on the signed agreement with Telenor Group. With that said, 701Search’s regional hub team will be fully integrated into Carousell while other countries such as Malaysia, Vietnam and Myanmar will retain their respective platform’s brand.
CEO of Carousell has mentioned that the merger will allow them to increase their scale of operation, as well as educate themselves on the dynamics of the markets in other countries.
