If you're a Maxis user, chances are that you got an SMS message from them about having free data to catch the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Astro. It's not just Astro but this applies to RTM as well as Maxis users can catch the action on their TV or mobile devices for as low as RM1!
So how do you do that? Well, both Maxis and Hotlink customers can purchase the Astro World Cup match pass for RM1 to watch any or all of the 64 matches in LIVE Full HD anytime, anywhere. Perhaps the best part of this is that after paying, the data to stream the game will be free. However, viewers can only watch 41 out of the 64 matches - 28 live and 13 delayed - for free on RTM.
To sign up for the Astro GO World Cup Match Passes, customers just need to:
- Download the MyMaxis/Hotlink RED/Hotlink Flex app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store
- Purchase the match pass of their choice in the app
- Receive the Coupon Code via SMS & MyMaxis app
- Redeem the code on the Astro GO app and start watching
