Update: Celcom has announced that services were restored as of 6 PM. As compensation for the service disruption, the data quota of customers won't be deducted until 12 AM (midnight) tonight.
No online services can boast of never experiencing disruptions. But when it comes to one as important as our mobile network, we tend to hope it never goes down. Unfortunately, that's what happened to Celcom users today, who have started complaining about network issues since the afternoon.
This isn't an isolated issue, as multiple Celcom users reported having issues with data connectivity or voice calls. Celcom later confirmed that it's currently experiencing a technical issue that's affecting customers nationwide. The company is already working on solving the problem and has promised to restore services as soon as possible.
