CelcomDigi Berhad, through its Innovation Centre, has introduced a suite of AI-powered solutions developed entirely by its digital talent.
Designed to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer service, and enable smarter collaboration, the tools are already in use internally and are now being prepared for AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) deployment.
The AIaaS model aims to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) adopt AI technology quickly and cost-effectively, without the need for heavy upfront investment.
What we could expect
First showcased at the ASEAN AI Summit 2025, the in-house solutions include:
- AI as the engine of productivity – An AI-powered digital assistant that automates routine tasks, provides relevant information, and streamlines workflows.
- AI as the enabler of efficiency – AI Business Case Assistant to generate data-driven proposals with ROI analysis, along with an Instant Scope of Work Assistant that creates structured contract documents in minutes.
- AI as the catalyst for service excellence – An AI tool for contact centres to improve response accuracy, reduce handling time, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- AI as the backbone for smarter collaboration – The AI Mirror prototype to personalise interactions, boost employee engagement, and strengthen workplace culture at scale.
CelcomDigi Chief Innovation Officer T. Kugan said the solutions reflect the company’s focus on practical problem-solving with AI.
“While we continue refining them internally and integrating AI across our operations, we are exploring how some can be adapted into accessible AIaaS offerings for SMEs,” he said.
The initiative is part of CelcomDigi’s transformation into an AI-driven organisation, with ongoing efforts in upskilling, cross-functional projects, and fostering a culture of experimentation.
