Today, CelcomDigi has officially begun the nationwide rollout of its CelcomDigi Express Stores. A new phase in the company’s ongoing efforts to modernise and expand its retail network, this initiative aims to enhance customer access and experience.
Building on a Unified Retail Concept
The launch of the Express Stores follows the successful integration of Celcom Bluecube and Digi Stores into a unified CelcomDigi retail identity. Over 50 digital-concept stores have already opened across the country, and the current phase focuses on upgrading partner-operated outlets to meet the company’s new standards in customer experience and service quality.
CelcomDigi Express Stores are designed to serve and offer a range of services. This includes smartphones, mobile plans, gadgets, and fibre solutions, supported by trained frontliners equipped to deliver consistent service across all locations.
Expanding Physical Presence Amid Digital Growth
According to Cheng Weng Hong, CelcomDigi’s Chief Sales & Retail Officer, the launch of Express Stores is a natural next step following the transformation of flagship outlets. Once the rollout is completed, CelcomDigi expects to operate more than 300 branded retail outlets nationwide.
“We want all customers to enjoy the same exceptional experience regardless of location. Whether at a main CelcomDigi Store or an Express Store, the goal is consistent access to reliable solutions,” Cheng Weng Hong said.
CelcomDigi’s retail transformation efforts have not gone unnoticed. The company was recently awarded Telecommunications Retailer of the Year – Malaysia at the Retail Asia Awards 2025, acknowledging its commitment to elevating the in-store customer experience.
