If you live in a large house, planning your home's Internet coverage can be important. Most people use WiFi repeaters, but a wired setup could sometimes be better. If that's you, then there's some good news from CelcomDigi.

CelcomDigi has announced that it's offering 1Gbps plans with free fibre-to-the-room (FTTR). The service is worth RM1920 and comes with free standard installation. For those unaware, an FTTR setup is one where the main router is connected to each room's MESH via optical cables. This is crucial in houses with thicker walls, which make WiFi repeaters less effective.

The company has promised that installations will be completed within a day. As mentioned, installation is free for CelcomDigi Fibre customers in Klang Valley, Penang, Johor and Sabah. For customers who want secured Internet security, CelcomDigi will provide protection via F-Secure for RM68 per year. For more details, visit the CelcomDigi Fibre website.
