Starting 22 June until 17 July 2016, Sony Mobile Communications have announced “Celebrate Raya With New Xperia X Series” promotion that is in conjunction with the Holy Month of Ramadan celebrations. During this period, consumers who purchase the newly announced Xperia X and Xperia XA smartphones are entitled to exclusive free gift redemptions.

Free gift redemptions include transparent silicon cases for both phones and screen protector for the curved display of the Xperia X. In addition, existing Xperia smartphone users can also look forward to redeeming a free Screen Warranty Care+ when they upgrade their phone to a Xperia X. The warranty will allow Sony Mobile to cover a one-time repair for cracked screens at any time within a 12-month warranty period.
Sony Xperia X and Xperia XA were just recently launched in Malaysia for RM2499 and RM1199 respectively. The Xperia X's selling point is its Predictive Hybrid Focus feature that can track moving objects giving the user clear blur-free shots on the 23MP rear camera, it also has a SteadyShot video stabilisation for video recording. On the other hand, Xperia XA is the world’s narrowest and bezel-less 5-inch smartphone design, it also features hybrid autofocus and smart battery management to deliver up to two days battery life.
